On Friday, February 19th, Two Cents Productions premiered our zero-budget feature film debut, The Middle Men. Helmed by writer/director Jack Nicoletti and producer/assistant director Samuel T. Castellino, the event was a who's who of independent film's finest unknowns; and it all took place online.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the crew's plans for two in-person premieres (Philadelphia and Myrtle Beach) were nixed, leaving the gang with a finished film in September of 2020, and nothing to do with it. After some meticulous planning, the production company's plan was finally announced in late January: a live screening of the film on the company's YouTube channel, followed by a live Q&A hosted by Daniel Gurevitch, featuring the titular Middle Men (Evan Newton and Josh Blanchett) and writer/director Jack Nicoletti and producer/AD Samuel T. Castellino.

The premiere began at 9pm EST, with a curtain speech from Nicoletti and Castellino. The pair emphasized the circumstances under which The Middle Men was made, and then announced an all new online merchandise shop. All of the proceeds from the shop will be going towards the distribution of The Middle Men. The leftover money will be used for the cast and crew's next production, which was also announced during the premiere.

The foursome did not give many details, but they did reveal that their next project would blend elements of horror with dark comedy, and it will be a team effort from square one, as opposed to just production. Josh Blanchett likened the tone of the upcoming film to a film by McG (The Babysitter, Supernatural). As Jack Nicoletti noted, the company's next feature is going to be "a real good time" and that it will be "bigger than Middle Men, more ambitious, and it'll be made for the same amount of money." Stay tuned for more updates regarding Two Cent's next Production.

To conclude, we at Two Cents Productions would like to personally thank everyone who tuned into the premiere, and we hope you enjoyed the film. If you did, feel free to head over to our shop and get some gear to represent your favorite production company. If you would like to support Two Cents Productions without money, the best possible way to do that would be to write us a review on IMDb. Once again, thank you all for your support, and we hope The Middle Men could bring some joy during these sporadically trying times.
