ANNOUNCEMENT: New Feature Film

TWO CENTS PRODUCTIONS has just greenlit a new feature length film following the success of their first project, The Middle Men. The new feature is titled Stone Cold Crazy, and it is a dark comedy/horror film that pays homage to slasher films and teen comedies of the 1980s. Details regarding the specific plot are unknown, but the writing process has begun.

Unlike TWO CENTS PRODUCTIONS' first feature, the screenplay for Stone Cold Crazy is being written collaboratively by both Jack Nicoletti (writer/director of The Middle Men and Vandal) and Samuel T. Castellino (producer of The Middle Men, writer of Piñata and Four Letter Words). The pair has begun the first draft of the script, with production set to begin in the Summer of 2022 and a proposed release date in October of the same year.

In addition to Nicoletti and Castellino, Stone Cold Crazy will also mark the return of several other Middle Men collaborators as well. Evan Newton and Josh Blanchett who played the titular characters in The Middle Men are attached to star in the film, though their roles have yet to be announced. Several other cast members from The Middle Men are also in talks to return, though specifics have not yet been announced.

In an interview after the premiere of The Middle Men, Nicoletti, Castellino, Blanchett and Newton spoke regarding the upcoming project, Nicoletti noting that it will be "bigger, better, more ambitious, and made for a similar amount of money," alluding to The Middle Men's historically low budget of $0.
